By the name of almighty......

My uncle said;

The land THIRUVATTOOR was a small place shaped round around thiruvattoor sivaksetra.T he place which jumamasjid [Valya palli] is situated was named THIRIYODI .And long after the places around Thiruvattoor [Paroli ,Thiriyodi, Chittoor-nowVayad-etc] had also named thiruvattoor.
My grand mother tolled me ones;

There was seven hindu family[Tharavadu] lived at Thiruvattoor.There was no muslims there at that time .And before senturies ,twenty two sufies had come to Kerala and spread at several places .Two had reached at pulingom,two at thaliparamba,two at chapparappadavu....and also two reached at our sacread place.

And she says

Auliya started Ibadath[the worship].When nattives began to disturb him they suffered meny problems and atlast they evacuated and they brought seven muslim family from kunnimangalam to the place

Ones i heared that the thiruvattoor mosque was built by them as a honour for auliya
